  • For me it's people who believe in astrology but the two always seem to intersect anyway. I had a roommate in university who genuinely believed parts of the house were haunted because she "felt a presence" there. She was also really into astrology to the point of having to mention it all the time whenever someone had a certain behaviour she thought was associated with a zodiac sign.

Funnily enough she was studying Psychology

  • I don't believe in ghosts but have definitely had some fucking grade A weird shit happen on a few occasions, witnessed by someone else too

  • ngl i find this really annoying

  • The type of person who calls about 8 times in a row when you're on the phone with someone else. I was speaking with someone from another team about some referrals they'd made and just constantly heard these little bloops in the background while this one patient called over and over. Bonus annoyance in that they left 5 voicemails of them just sighing or immediately hanging up, so I had to go through and delete all those.

  • Voicemail.

Not had it switched on for over a decade now.

  • Same. I’ve saved so much time now I don’t have to trawl through messages of my dad telling me the time and date he’s leaving a message, just after the robot voice has told me exactly the same information.

  • Fucking hay fever.

  • +100000000000

  • Polo shirts are my formal wear! :S

  • What the actual fuckery?

  • Everyone likes to belong to a gang, man.

  • I don't even get that far. I boil a kettle and then get distracted, then boil the kettle, rinse repeat all day and wonder why I'm thirsty still at 1700.

  • Grade A or Class A?

  • Ectoplasm 200mg

  • On this topic... weddings with "semi-formal" dresscode.

Ok, so you want me wearing tails and a top hat but Speedos on the bottom half?

Or, is it dinner jacket over Metallica tshirt?

Just fucking say what you want us to wear!

  • Just don't go to weddings, I've refused all wedding invitations for over ten years...

But might have to go to one later this year, polo shirt and chinos it will be... And sneakers... And a hat...

  • Top hat.

  • It's the grrl's bestie and she's bridesmaid and all that kind of stuff (and it's in Greece!).
It was a bit tongue in cheek as we had a whole discussion about "semi-formal" and everyone said my idea of formal was actually wearing shoes and putting on a polo shirt instead of some old tshirt :)

I still hate Semi Formal as a concept.

  • The markup that 'local' versions of Tesco and Sainsbury's put on everything. 60p for a fucking single banana? Cunts

  • I still hate Semi Formal as a concept.

Just go smart-casual and hope no one notices.

  • I'm already smart so if I just go casual I should be rockin'.

  • I wore a top hat, 3 piece suit and red Converse to my sisters wedding.
    trots off to hipster thread

  • My uncle wore top hat and tails with boxer shorts and work boots to his daughter's wedding.

    He's no hipster he's a solid legend.
