  • Dan Lloyd's inability to pronounce this t's is really irritating... 'Smiff'.

  • Hes no Gary... god he makes me miss Gary. He’s the least annoying thing about it though...

  • The word merely. It's only ever used in the context of a nasty, mealy-mouthed, gas-lighty excuse.

  • ONS surveys.
I have to complete one every month, they end me an email reminder that is so aggressively worded "legally obligated" "notice...under section 1 of the Statistic of Trade Act 1947"

And boy if you don't complete it quick enough, the reminders come thick and fast, and even more aggressive

They also want me to complete weekly ones too (that, thankfully, are not legally required)

  • People who separate one long statement into several shorter ones accented at the end and insert “he” “she” “they” etc in unnecessarily.
    For example:
“My friend ^Greg^....He bought this car the other ^day^....It was ^£4500^. ”

  • YouTube music. Jesus. Play music wasn't perfect but I'd at least appreciate the ability to search within my own music library. Maybe even do an advanced search - SEEING AS SEARCH IS THE WHOLE REASON YOUR COMPANY EXISTS.

I could go on but it's pointless. The lack of features for a music app is unbelievable.

  • oh this doesn't sound good. I'm on Play music and haven't done the switch yet. I like it as it is dammit! I already know I won't like youtube music :/

  • Went for a walk yesterday and this was such a strong smell after the rain, rank

  • I feel your pain...mine didn’t go till May last year. Fuckers

  • People who say “autumn is my favourite season”. Why, you twats? It means summer has gone and it’ll soon be winter. It’s already pitch dark at 5pm, ffs. We have six months of this shit now.

  • Cheer up.

  • It’s beautiful, the changes in colours are dramatic, the smell of autumn is amazing. Seeing the transition is a wonder of nature in action.

  • Five Months.

  • Maybe move to the equator?

  • When people say "I'll add the fees" (usually on here) but always leave it short. It's so specific it makes me think they're trying to 'accidentally' save themselves 62p, 18p or similar. If pence are too tiny for your brain to manage just round to the next quid FFS!

  • We could start a ‘what happens next’ thread with a photo like that.
But seriously folks, autumn would be lovely if we actually had an autumn. For lots of years recently the summer ends with a few colder nights so the trees get the message then a bloody great storm comes along. Result; bare trees and what should be bright colours is lying in dark mushy layers on the soggy earth ready to test our nerve at the bottom of the next hill.

  • with the similar avatars i thought you'd posted that @greenhell and thought you'd gone all soft.

  • i mean... i'm hard right now, if that helps?

  • legally obligated

People who say obligated when they mean obliged. Or am I in the wrong thread?

  • damn straight, should be ‘obligationalized’?

    (I still say ‘burgled’)
