I hate it when people squeeze the teabag with the spoon. And I can tell by taste alone if you've done it.

Back of the spoon tastes better, plus no wasted spoonful of tea thrown away.

Soup is the same. Only complete riff raff eat soup with the concave of the spoon.

If you've got a teabag wth a string you can do the wrap it around the bowl of the spoon and squeeze it with the string trick... Pretty amazing the first time I saw it...

Like water, soup tastes best using having it poured into cupped hands going straight into your mouth.

Not all of us live in the good life. Bosh out a sleepy eyed brew in the morning, drink more at work, where I don't keep my own private teapot, could possibly have a pot in the evening, but mostly it's whack out a decent mug of Yorkshire with freshly drawn water, a few minutes brewing and a bit of a mash with the back of the spoon.
