• Wiggans climbs 'hills' too ya know :P

  • Wiggins sits at the back and dreams of aerobars and black lines.

  • I usually see one or two F or SS from West London via my early Putney > Kings Road > West End route.....more tho if I leave an hour later, and an almost solid wall of fair weather MTBers/Hybriders if I leave @ 8am AND the sun is shining.....kinda prefer it when its wet and the roads are empty! Not a problem recently.

  • I saw some guy oday on a Fuji track with pink deep v rims. Anyone here.

  • FixAxioN unxetas, what were you wearing this morning? :P

I was on jamaica road around 7.55am!

where from and to do you ride? could maybe do a commute in one day? :P

    greenwich to monument here :)

    jeeeeesus (and I'm not a christian).. 7.55am??

I start at 9.30.. but usually leave around 10am. Deptford to soho!

  • just rode being a Langster (brownish one) on my way home (again on jamaica road)! anyone here? :P

i was following happily until a bus hogged the lane and he took a sharp right around the bus not being able to see what was in front :O too fast too dangerous for me :P

  • Object17
dogsballs i never see any fixies on my ride to work, particularly north of camden town, might be those hills. sometimes see some around marlybone rd, but usually couriers

That could easily be me. Though not a courier I certainly look like one. I need slapping for my fakenger-ness.
north of Camden you say, look out for me.
note loud colours and beaten up black bike

    oh and silly caps ;)

  • I finally met Mr Mercian (The old guy who rides a Fixed Mercian). He came up to me while I was sitting reading a paper in the park (My temporary beater fixie was parked beside me) he was surprised that someone my age had a fixed. I explained to him how there has been somewhat of a revival which made him laugh. He said he used to be a famous racer his name is Dave Keller (or something similar). I tried to google him but no luck.

  • Greenwich to Vauxhall here, white Condor Pista and mostly Rapha kit.

    If you see me, holler!

  • I saw an old claud butler fixie parked outside borough market. Brakeless AND with no clips & straps! I remember thinking oh god it must be some nutcase who's in for a world of pain... then saw the rider and he must've been at least 60!

  • Seem to be a lot of people here commuting from Greenwich. Me too: Greenwich to south bank; Blue Pearson. Usually around 8:30-8:45.

  • fuzzbrain Blue Pearson

nice, fucking love pearsons. is it a touche or one of their older steel frames??

  • It's a touche. It seems to work alright , though I've not had the chance to compare it to other fixed gear bikes. The aluminium frame doesn't seem to make the ride too rough. I came to it from an old heavy mountain bike so it's been a bit of a revelation to me-- going up hills is suddenly fun.
