So far we have:
- Dura ace 7710 crankset and bottom bracket,
- Chainring riding 49 front and 15 at back (both dura ace)
- Aerospokes
- And fibre flares so people and see me (and when i get hit i can say couldn't you see me dammit?)
Wanted to take this to herne hill, but it was raining so it was cancelled and that on the track you require 165 on the crank! BUGGER!!!! + herne hill is closed off for 6 weeks! great...

Randonneur 28s are a tenner at Edinburgh Cycles at the mo, am tempted to get one for the back but I see someone further up ^ says they're a tight squeeze. Are we talking "spoiling the nice tight clearance between tyre and seat tube" or "hanging off the arse end of the dropouts"? I've had a Bontrager Race Lite 28 on and it was ok but I think they're quite narrow-fitting for a 28.

Changed a few bits and pieces...
Aerorage rear wheel, Ritchey front + Gatorskins
Nitto Bullhorns + Cane Creek Lever
Old faithful saddle, seat post and SPDs from my geared road bike
Changed to 16t sprocket
Resprayed RAL 7033 + double lacquerDoes my commute everyday and was comfortable enough to get me to Dunwich no probs!

theyre not too fat. granted i have to deflate my rear wheel to get it out (conversion) but it runs narrower than some 25s ive had. its a bitch to get on though, feels quite slow and its lasted me about 3 weeks so far and nicely through to the red in the middle so I'm gonna look for something else after this one's worn through. Suprised since i had so many recommendations for it

They slide predictably and have lots of rubber.

How much do you guys reckon for a minty 2008 Fuji Track? Upgrades include lightweight seat-post, spesh toupe saddle, Thomson stem, Cane Creek lever, no-brand full carbon forks just 340g! Nice drops, tasty bar-ends, egg beater pedals. All set up and bike in A1 condition. Only thinking about selling as I'm running out of room in the flat! Cheers guys.

What is that fork?
I might go carbon at some point. As I really am not in the know, what are the things I should look for? According to Fuji, the fork rake is 40mm on a size 56. So I should look for that.
But what about the steerer and headset? This will not do, I think, because of the need for an "integrated" headset, right?

Looks like a good deal to me, I know veloshop is doing lower price but I need a place that has a finance scheme, evans does.
How is the bike? anyone here owns it? couldnt find any reviews on the internet.

A few of the guys had last years version of this at HH and am pretty sure they were happy with them. I think they are a solid, decent bike for the money. The wheels and the bars are probably not that great, but they can always be changed at a later date if you are so inclined

Just thought I'd post this here as well as the stolen bikes thread.
This is my 2004 Fuji Track. It was stolen at Tooting Bec last night. Would be cool if fellow Fuji riders could keep their eyes open for it. It's pretty distinctive.
Totally gutted.

Losing a 2004 model is tragic indeed! Not many of those around any more--hope you find it!

Thankfully it should be easy to spot. Unless it goes thru some chop shop involving rattle can treatment.
On to a completely different subject: I am still amazed how solid my Fuji feels. I do think it is a lot of bike for the money. Okay, I had to true the front wheel and light it ain't, but other than that I really can't complain. (Well, I got the yellow one and the colour I do not find that nice.)
Still thinking of buying a carbon fork. But then I'd worry more and its role as my beater would be in danger.
