  • Here you go

This Pro is drilled, but is Jap speck, the ones i have seen are not

  • This years comp, which is last years pro, is drilled i believe - the new Pro is not.

    true

  • Are you refering to this years Fuji Track Pro, or the Fuji Track comp, that used to be called the Pro

    this one

    or this one

its like this, (the 2009 versin I think) with a slightly different paint job, but yea pretty much this one

  • My Pro wasn't drilled. It's a bit of an overkill regardless.

Ignore the setup and a slack chain (it was on the day I put it together)

  • do you use it as an every day ??, how does it feel on city roads ?

  • Like I said, I wasn't using it everyday and I passed it to Hael.
It was bit too much for me brakeless.

Seriously, ask Dammit - it was his daily commuter (with a front brake fitted).

  • Get one of these.

  • Track frame + broken road = ouch.

  • Track frame + london road = ouch.

    .

  • I had a FTP and I loved it. The reason i sold it is because it beat me up too much. I wouldn't reccomend one for street use, it's not good for your wrists or your ass!

Then again - some people like the pain :-)

  • Doesn't Hillbilly have a Fuji Track Pro?

  • Does anyone know what size BB the Fuji Track '04 originally came with?

I'm thinking it would be a 68-113mm, but I just wanted to check...

And is there a better alternative to the Shimano UN54? The plastic cup on the non-drive side irks me a little bit.

    Ta.

  • I've replaced the standard BB with a Campagnolo veloce and I can't say I've ever had a problem with it! The chain line seems fine with the FSA stock cranks, fit and forget...

  • oh, cool. I didn't realise those would fit! Thanks for the tip

  • Does anyone know if the graphics on the Fuji track classic are removable or if they've been laqueured over?

    Cheers

  • the 2010 one? they're laquered over. they suck. I covered mine like this:

  • Hi

About to buy a Fuji Track, but having a dilemma about sizing. Ideally I'd find out sizing at a LBS, but no-one around here has them in stock (Norwich), so thought I'd see what other people are running and how they get one.

I'm 5'11", and I'll be using it for the daily commute, plus some rides around town, mainly urban. I was leaning towards the 56, but a friend said the TT's are compact and I might be better to look at the 58.

Any input appreciated on what other Fuji riders are running.

    Cheers

  • fuji are a size small basically - my 54 feels like a 52 etc. so standover isn't an issue - do you know what toptube length you need normally?

  • Not really, being a road virgin...

I normally ride bmx, which is of no help here whatsoever.

  • im 5'10 and ride a 54 fuji track.

Id say go with the 56

  • You don't find 54 too short? Do you run it with flats or drops?

  • im 5'10

    Me too.

and ride a 54 fuji track.

    Me too

Id say go with the 56

    Me too.

  • Cheers - 56 it is ...

On a seperate note, I've never ridden fixie before, and might want to run it SS for a while so I don't get myself killed in the first week of having it. Is it normally OK to just run a rear brake?

  • Front brake!!

  • Front brake!!

    um... two brakes?
