Keep an eye out on here and on ebay. I got my Fuji frame, forks, headset, cranks, BB, seatpost & saddle for £120, and it's a great bike.
58cm on the bay right now http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FUJI-TRACK-FIXED-WHEEL-Fixie-58cm-Frame_W0QQitemZ180420013127QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Bikes_GL?hash=item2a01deec47

I'm sitting less than half a mile from that bike right now, in deepest, darkest Norfolk. Was looking at it myself, but what would I do with another?

I undid my BB last night to find out what the funny feeling was and half the smashed bearing cartridge fell out. Magic. So did anyone replace their 2008 stock BB and leave all the other parts? Did it work? What do I need to look for when ordering a new BB? It seems to be about 10cm wide in the spindle - is that the only measurement I need aside from threading type?

"68-107mm"
On the above, 107 is spindle width? What does the other number refer to?

Ride twice as much? :)

Ride twice as much? :)
Genius. But I'd get caught in the same infinite-upgrade-loop that emptied my wallet for 12 months when I was doing up the first one...

the shell width

should be fine, if the cranks are JIS taper, which i don't know.
-
• #1660
Which one though? What's the stock fuji shell width?
-
• #1661
68mm
-
• #1662
How much is it on for?
Ebay is blocked here at work.

you want the top one, that is 68mm and 107mm, which is the shell width and spindle width of your old bb respectively, according the values you have given us.
this bb will only be correct if the fuji track bb is jis or iso taper, which i dont know.

Was £145, but all the attention has just got our seller an extra tenner.

I could do with a beater as Sunday made clear to me- I ended up driving into town and it cost me £24.50 to park....
-
• #1667
This beater's your size ;)

Is that currently on offer for 375 euro?
-
• #1669
Yes, that's the current high offer.

i love ebay auctions like that. the seller is gonna lose a lot of bids because he has stupid handlebars that make the bike look ridiculous!
-
• #1671
It does not quite fulfil my requirement for a beater but it is tempting.
Tricky locking it up with two disc wheels when one needs to pop into the theatre for some time.

...It's an 80's Pursuit bike

I had one a few years back and I liked it, I think it is good for the money (I payed £300 for mine though).

a fuji track with cruiser bars and mtb bar ends set inside the grips is an 80s pursuit bike?

Thanks for the replies dudes, I probably have to buy it from a shop for the cyclescheme thingy.
Went to BLB for the first time, was pretty cool, except for the fact that the fuji they had was £499 with a brake...
Evans is still my best bet.
I've just searched for my invoice from Biddle. I paid £296.99 in 2007 for mine. I replaced everything but the frame and forks within 12 months, though. I love mine, and it's a great base to tinker from.
