I totally agree with Buffalo Bill, show pedestrians that you are the good guys on the road and you understand that it is as difficult for them as it is for you to deal with the traffic.

Kill them all

We have time to brace ourselves, they get mowed down.. seems fair considering it's their fault.

Peds can feel my death stare through the back of their heads.. they're too scared to step onto the road when I'm near. Sparta!
..best quote of the day.

That wasn't quite my point - I don't buy into the whole 'shouldn't RLJ because it gives us all a bad rep' thing. My points were more:
- They aren't really that dangerous
- They can be avoided in any case, with a little bit of foresight.
- And even if it is totally their fault, it's no consolation when someone is lying on the ground bleeding as the result of a collision that you had with them.

Is that before or after you give them a good kicking?

^This is why we don't wear helmets... so the head-butts are more effective.

Did they kick you out of that anger management course AGAIN? -

a lot of them are tourists who have no idea about left, right, or bikes being ridden by slick muthas.
really, for a lot of them London is their first time in a big city, they've no idea what they're doing.
Absolutely no difference to the fact we go over the handlebars while they look vague and touristy and walk off with their Harrod's sale bag.

Well I agreed with your points and also added that because I believe that if people respected/understood each other a little things would be more pleasant :)

But you and Bill have misunderstood each other, so it's all gone terribly sour.

The apologies and guilt are the first things that came to mind when I have collided with a pedestrian in the past.
"I'm soo sorry, are you okay?"
But when the pedestrian then tries to blame you / make out it's all your fault and you were riding dangerously to them) it is hard not to defend yourself.
"You should have been riding next to the pavement!"
"No waY! Just don't bloody cross Oxford Street between stationary traffic without looking!"
"You were going too fast!"
"Whatever.."
Later on I realised it was my fault.
Pedestrians are our closest relations on the roads, I would like to improve the relationship.
Buffalo Bill seems to have the right idea. Then there was the guy who clotheslined me for not stopping at a zebra crossing. :-(

It's the fucking wildebeests that are the most clueless at a zebra crossing, not cyclists or peds.

yes I was implying that Buffalo Bill was a ped-lover. I understand this is completely foreign to the ethics of this forum and I would like to withdraw my initial statement.

In numbers they are like lemmings. i love the way they stand and stare, like day of the living dead at times
It wasn't me that coined it, but I like the expression 'March of the penguins', used to describe the mass shuffle in the City at rush hour.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread in honour of the sillycuntbitchwhore that I almost killed tonight.. followed by the cockslappinginbreddickweed I had to play 'chicken' with and even the arsefistingshiteater gangsta mofo on a bike riding on the wrong side of the road directly at me.
Who left the door open at the fucktard lockup?

Bad day? Nothing that six quick laps of RP on Saturday won't cure.

you know what? After reading the topic, i'm gonna fit those old fashion horn on my bike and blare at anyone who cross the road poorly.
The other day a woman was crossing the road and she was looking at not one, but two mobile phones.
But I also saw about a group of about 6 guys on push bikes who went through the green ped crossing, shouting at peds and hitting them.
