nice ride last night, quite a few turning out considering t'rain,
weirdest moment was waiting at Kew and being treated to a spectacular [in the wrong sense] display of skidding by some polish bloke on his mountain bike who seemd to think that his 'look how close i can get to sliding into oncoming lorries' display merited us buying him a drink.
was very cool on the ride home with slamm, not a single car passed, clear roads, fast, serene and by f**k did i enjoy that cup of tea when i got in...

Quality night. I really enjoyed the weather. Spent most of the ride in just a t-shirt.
Pleased it wasn't me with the puncture...I was riding tubs! Had a 'seal and flate' just incase though.
Great meeting you all finally. Loads of friendly faces and a few good laughs along the way.
Had to bail at the Design Museum. Hadn't anticipated it would go on all night!!! Left just after 4am, home for 5am, and at work for 11am! Damn it.

Great ride, thanks for all that came. Decent numberage in the end, not much rain on the ride itself.

I regret not going to Woolwich. I thought I was tired, but I was so pumped after I got home I couldn't sleep till about six.
Penance for my night out was spending the rest of the day shopping in Bluewater.
Good ride. A bit wet, but nobody got hurt. Not even velocity boy, who now understands that wood gets slippery in the rain. ;-)

I have done my time at the squeegee, I spent many a sunday afternoon as a child stretching the very cheapest screen material across some of the most poorly put together frames with a car screen wiper in one hand and the smell of horse urine in the air.
Memories.

pity you guy didnt get to test the hip pouch though
