At purple black bike man. Seriously, fuck what the bike police/nazis say. Enjoy it. Many of the slagger-offers on this forum know very little else outside of it and only got into cycling through the 'fixie' boom and now tout themselves as the be all and end all of all that matters on here. One day all forum members will be to scared to use a little imagination and fun when they next build a bike, a wave of conformist sterile looking machines shall course through the grey city streets with riders not even being able to exchange glances due to fear of damnation toward their colourfull Deep V rim, frame thats an inch and a half too big....or god forbid......a purple tyre. And a message to the ones who are new to the whole fixed thing. Encouragement is the key, and if you find, in years to come that your love for the velo has blossomed and bloomed then please don't turn into a snob and chop down the next generation of potentially happy cycling people. It helps and achieves absolutely fuck all.

And so it was Jase did part the seas of ignorance and the peoples were saved and the world looked just a little bit brighter than it did yesterday!

surely if you post a picture of yourself and you bike, you open yourself up for a bit of ribbing? c'mon.
Forums are a great place for slinging insults...esp. from behind pseudonyms...

For real, as much as I find your stream exhausting to read without paragraphs I agree and I would like to point out I was only digging him out on account of the fact that there genuinely is, apparently, a Super Hipster Man who patrols the spice route and looks after the kids.
Apparently he has a gps device on his iphone which alerts him whenever a seam is ripped in a skinny jean.... his photo looked like it might be him because he is clearly very strong at lifting people and bikes so I thought it might be him.
I have no time for pulling other people's aesthetics apart, unless their saddles remind me of ginger spice grrrls, let's hope we haven't hiptonited the brother away.....

Ok. Fair point. Learning through insult is, I suppose, one method. I like to believe there are nicer methods but if a smack to the bottom for having your break lever at the wrong angle is your preferred way of gathering knowledge then so be it.
meh.
