they just don't seem like they'd be very comfortable for riding around in and trying get in and out of clips in.
i remember back in the day just cruising around on a bmx and wearing my upthapunx! 14-eye doc martens and finding that to be somewhat of a bitch even for just riding to the local bodega or whatever.

i also can't stand clips and straps. ever since going clipless i can't imagine going back, it just feels way too lose. and on my clipless i make sure the tension is ridiculously high.

New rims are still in the box right now! I am working on the funds/masking/hubs aspect still. Mainly the funds though. They will be done by February! New risers too I hope...

Meh, I used to like stuff like that but I'm a bigger fan of proper oldschool youth crew stuff, Judge, Alone in a Crowd, Token Entry, Bold ... just got a bit sick of the noise that started happening around 1999. All depends on your definition of hardcore I guess?

Here I am...at the Florida Street checkpoinint on the Alley Nhatt. Roxy took it and it captures my exhaustion well. Marcel is camera shy behind me.

..Im particularly knacked because some wiseguy marshall (Wookie) thought he'd let the girls get a massive head start by deflating the boys's tyres. Marcels' tyres are continental TT 700x32c and take about 10 mins to reach the 85 psi they need for speed.

It was a great race. I didnt do that well. I got a big migraine too.

Probably sitting down and having a chat at our checkpoint didnt help ;)
