Hello all, i'm new, converted a Puch Clipper I found in the garage of a house I was living in at uni a year ago. does anyone know anything about the Puch Clipper? - I can't find any info online, i'm not sure what tubing its made from, if its worth keeping as i'm on the hunt for a new frame. Will post a pic if anyone is interested, thanks.

i've been on here a couple of months (mostly as a lurker) so here goes.
shite pic of my wheels:
It's my first SS and a work in progress. An old bronze-coloured Carlton Corsair (not sure what year, but i'd estimate early 1970s?) touring frame converted to single speed freewheel. as far as i'm aware a lot of the features (e.g. my lovely quill pedals that you can't really see on this shot) are originals. this is an old shot and it's now got 700c (rather than 27") wheels, and a better SS sprocket on the rear hub. next job is to replace the chainring, which is pretty worn out.shite pic of me:

i know, not ideal. crazy james will be happy to hear that getting a rear brake - or converting to proper fixed (haven't decided which yet) - is also on my 'to do' list. but tbh, i'm a very careful and pretty experienced cyclist who knows his limits, generally stays off big thoroughfares, and takes very few risks on the road... not a noob who thinks he can RLJ and weave through traffic, undertaking all over the place and stop on a penny.
