Ok. Slightly untrue as this is the bike I built for my brother. And me holding it all proud an' sheeeeaaat. And my polo bike plus a sepia beater.

As Gaz has posted a few pages back I thought I'd post my fairly-similar-to-Gaz's bike.
Thanks Tour de Ville for the 3ttt stem, Hilary for the 3ttt Grand Prix bars
Thanks Buddha Fingaz (if I spelt that right) for the pedalsKeeping it indoors so it won't get nicked off my balcony this time.
(And my very-not-simlar-to-Gaz's face)

Hanged, that seems like a massive bike - how do you ride cause it looks like you have stumps for legs...
-
• #8810
Ha, must be photographic illusions! The frame is 56x56, I'm 5'11, and my legs are almost straight on the lowest crank stroke.
Oh by the way the stupid little sofa is about 1m tall

I got a new camera this week. I've taken photos of both my face and bike since, so I thought I'd have another post here! The bike has drops on at the moment, as I lent them from a friend - the riding position is truly stupid though!
I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to photography so I've been playing with lightroom hence the silly arty rubbish. And the fact they're crap. -

I must admit max, it's normal setup involves the stem t'other way up and some risers. Aggro as fuck like ^ that ^ though
-
• #8817
Pray tell what is this new camera you have purchaced?
-
• #8818
Ricoh GRD. I still don't know what I'm doing with it though! My photographer friend is back from holiday in a week so I'll be getting a masterclass...

dura ace hubs are not supposed to be laced radially.

Few hubs are, they stand up to it OK though

dura ace hubs are not supposed to be laced radially.
How come??
-
• #8822
Just had some good news re CXP-30 and will be lacing mine 3 cross to DA hub due to not wanting to witness the accident I saw during my formative years when a Ringle hub, laced radially, came apart whilst the person using it was going rather fast.
-
• #8823
How come??
most hubs aren't, a radial spokes can rip the outer edge of the flange right off since the spoke are trailing straight outward on the hub flange.

B&W do?
