  • It doesn't show the bike all that well but this is me. On the way to my wedding incidentally.

And just for shits and giggles here I am trackstanding in a wedding dress.

Why isn't your bike wearing its wedding suit, then?

  • I bought it a new chain the day before, does that count?

  • Flip Flops n rat traps-coool! and congrats

  • Me. Although it looks like I'm going forward, in fact I was rooted to the spot and the rest of the universe as we know it was moving beneath me.

    Chuck Norris, is that you?

  • Going to your wedding on a bike is fucking awesome.

  • Chuck Norris, is that you?

I taught Chuck how to change an inner tube back in 'Nam.

  • Your bike looks the tits - I'm jealous :)

    Here's my setup:

    • Brick Lane Bikes Steel Track Frame
    • Straight Track forks
    • Brick Lane Cranks and Bottom Bracket
    • Profile AirWing bars
    • Gold Finger brake lever
    • Shimano 105 front brake
    • Cane Creek S8 headset
    • Velocity Deep V rims on formula hubs
    • Front wheel is a 28 spoke radially laced pattern
    • Rear wheel is a 28 spoke double cross pattern
    • Continental Grand Prix 4000S front tyre
    • Vitoria Rubino rear tyre
    • KMC Z510 Gold chain
    • Deda Logo Stem
    • System X seatpost

Just wanna change out the pedals, get some lights of some sort and I'll be happy :)

  • Old Fart alert! Getting back in to it after a five year lay off and it bloody hurts ;o)

    Andy

  • I has yet seen the Grinder in the flesh yet, that look lovely, a little on the small side thought if that seatpost is your max height.

  • Nice one Andy, welcome.

I had a real problem sorting the Grinder. I am 5' 8" and tried the medium and it felt huge! I went with the small and it is a better fit. I think they slightly oversize their frames.

Thank God I read this thread first as I was going for a medium! Anyway on the small I don't have so far to fall!

And I'm guessing you got most the parts from BLB....in which case, again I'm guessing it cost you about £2,675?

  • haha, I bought the bike second hand for £470. The guy told me the build cost him £700 from BLB. He was emigrating to Australia and had to sell the bike as he had too much stuff (as well as at least one other bike).

They have an XS one too I think, netherless if the top tube length is perfect (i.e. doesn't feel overstretched), I'm sure it's fine.
