  • I vote yes to paint stripped/rusty bikes

  • Thanks Sano, that was one bottle of nitro-mors, alot of rubbing with wire wool and one can of spray laquer.

  • He's only saying that cos he actually invented it. Before that there was only 'fucked' bikes. Now its a look.

    Kidding Sano. Luv you.

  • Ha! Murts did it first...

  • My Bike

    Me

  • I will save you the trouble and will post some of my photos,

    Strange Policewoman

    Even stranger

  • I'm on the right.

    Merican:

Not the best of flics - but the only one i have. Charge Racer with a few changes (Stem, Bars, Pedals, Brake, Lever etc), though mostly stock.

  • Cheers. I'd like to think i'll get round to it at some point. I still like my Afro Grips.

i remember those from the 80s. They were the coolest thing going for a while, mine eventually decayed and started to leave little black bits on my hands but before that they were cool.
still, you shouldn't be getting numb hands so something isn't right with your position. Cyclefit's expensive personally I've always had luck with the mechanic's at the lbs. Failing that there's bound to be something online about position that could help :)

  • @forms -I am loving the black on black barber pole.

  • suntour superbe pro is definitely the finishing touch

jason, that is a STUNNING bike... yummy.

Thanks man. The problem has almost gone. These 'afro' grips have worked a treat and i've switched back to risers. Was getting kind of worried for a minute. I have noticed my left hand is still considerably weaker than it once was.

  • Hi everyone :]

Lurked for a little bit, thought Id make a introduction before I hit London

Forum friend has me hooked on fixed after a longgg absence

    My build,

    Schwinn frame

    Campagnolo pedals

    Deep V & Mavic 3G / Hed 3

    Turbo Saddle

    Face {not my bike, borrowed on vacation}

  • Very nice bike, but the yellow velocity sticker on the back wheel lets it down a little

  • thanks mattty, Ive since removed it after the pic's were taken

  • Sweet. The more I look at it the more I like it.

Wait, now the silver crank arms are nagging me. Shame they're not black.

  • yep, that is a slick looking bike PF. monochrome ftw.

was admiring the Cervelo Test Team bike during the Tour when Haussler took that stage win. little hint of yellow but the black and white looked sleek

  • Do Campag still make mtb style caged pedals then?
are they just old records in VERY clean condition?

  • Mattty, I love the cranks, take it easy :)

I do hate my bars though, they are going

  • thanks Jonny, shes no lightweight but lovely to ride

  • scott not scott, the frame came complete with the pedals,I have no idea about the history of them or if they still make them, Im a newbie in kindergarten
