A few changes to the Malvern Star.
That would look sooooo much better without the spok and with a rear wheel to match the front.
I'd also probably loose the risers, they look wrong with that stem and go for some drops

Well I do have a matching rear wheel, but the Aerospoke is fun. I've put a black front tyre on to match the rear since this pic was taken. I also have a nice Cinelli stem and Cinelli Pista bars, but I don't like riding on the street with drops.
Whats wrong with the stem and risers combo?

Here is something for everyone to take the piss out of... but to be fair reserve final judgement until I'm in London week of May 12 and give me a handicap for weight, age and 70" gear and try to keep up. Please say hi I'm hard to miss (I hear huge belly laughs as I go by very often).
and lol if you take me up on it - for beers!
That's a curve d3 isn't it? I've got one of those in the pipeline! Waiting for a replacement stem and i'll be buying one... Gonna fix it straight away, gonna be fun as!

According to a few other people, the bars and stems looks wrong together, but hey, that's what I'm running (check the silver Malvern Star w/ Aerospoke a few posts back) and I dig it.
Nice bike.

if you meant the track stem and riser combination, sure it probably defied logic when a flat bar and normal stem will do, but frankly, it doesn't matter, I ride with similar set-up too purely because I like how it look, nice and aggressive than your usual flat bar and flat stem.
that and I can't find a flat bar with similar sweep as a riser.

Gonna fix it straight away, gonna be fun as!No this is a Sweet Pea - Dahons kids bike that came with 14" wheels, I changed them to 16" and chopped and welded the chain stay to get a 54 tooth front ring to fit.
Go for it - the d3 will be fun. and you will be able to get more choice in wheels and tires in the 20". -
