oh and is there a big age range, kids my age?
I haven't seen many youngsters on the social rides. Only one kid actually, but he was with his dad. Here are a choice of 2 routes from Archway to Bricklane.
You willl need to get re-accustomed to which side of the road to use, before you do night rides.
Just a friendly tip.

if I reply to "fun between my legs" is that technically "grooming"?
google maps will give you the distance between your 2 spots, but it ain't far... -
• #6131
I guess a 15-year-old calling him / herself 'Fun Between My Legs' isn't really aware of the average age on here..
course it could be a copper posing as a kid. I heard they do that.
Not to entrap paedos, just to perv off on it.

I no im on a london forum and i should have thought about that, because in la "putting the fun between your legs" is a metaphor for a bicycle saddle.
it probley looks really stupid and my user name makes me look like a want, but i just came on here to ask a question.

• #6133
but now since i have changed my name, may someone explain a little about the bike scene in london?
-
• #6134
no worries dylan - there are younger riders around too - come to POLO on Sunday or tricks etc...
As for the distances - maps.google.co.uk -

Aw, Dylan you made me laugh with your very first post. Have fun in L-town. You'll be fine.
-
• #6136
Sadly Dylanrides means a lot lor worse in london talk. you might just as well call yourself. CheapfilthyFelcher.
The bike scene is what you make it Mr Rides, a % of which is covered all over this forum. from spinning and skids to Polo and classic restoration

mikey, gus and oscar are your age dude.. they often come to trixiedix on a Tuesday, nice guys.
Polo is a general meet on a Sunday, Brick Lane.
thanks for a bit of amusement dude - read the tags on this thread and you'll understand the kinds of silly minds involved.. be careful on forums..!

I must says having been to LA, it's a fucking strange culture there, I mean I never seen a city full of people who are trying to be someone they're not, it's the most pretentious city I've ever been to! so any cities in comparison to LA will be quite different.
(not that I'm calling you pretentious of course).

Most sensible post regarding Fun Between My Legs was from a 16 year old.

Thanks - it's better than it used to be since I changed the stem to a shorter one. It's mostly OK now, though whoever decided to put 172.5mm cranks on a 49cm frame was clearly being a little bit optimistic. Still, I like a nice bit of toe overlap.
I don't think flowers like white beer.
It's a temporary stopgap (quite literally) - my ex moved out the other day so I felt obliged to fill the gaps where his CDs used to be with something

Hi all. I have been hanging around like a bad smell for about a month. After a few weeks of blood, sweat, stupid questions and (mostly) tears I finished my first ss bike! Not been out on it yet as I am pretty sick and dont want to aggravate the situation.
Anyway here is the bike (props to white_flower for the sticker design on the frame, props to me for covering up the pink forks...) I want to put a black chain on it, put in a matching set of brakes and will eventually change it to fixed once I am used to cycling round london.

And here is my ugly mug - if you see me out and about in London gimme a shout. I am pretty friendly (most of the time).

Thats me trying to power light bulbs in a Swedish museum. Lots of fun I tells you.
