Apologies for my face.

    hows the unicycle? :)
The trials unicycle is lots of fun though not very guiche piercing compatible :]

  • Object17: Saw you riding East on um a road last night. You were flashin' your pink bits for everyone to see! ;)
Towards Old St. roundabout where I see most other fixers of an 'eve..

Yesterday was the first day out with the new improved drivetrain (Dura-ace & EAI) and how could I forget the pink grips too (Secretly I believe these make all the difference).

You should shout next time, provided we weren't speeding in opposite directions that is. Anyways hope you were having fun.

  • Saw a guy on a nice dark blue Bob Jackson SS on the way home today .. said 'nice bike', as you do, and he said he'd just bought it from BLB.

well, clearly there's no point to my story...

well, clearly there's no point to my story...

BLB have loads of Bob Jackson track frames at the mo. £350
Saw a brand new white one leaving today.
No point to that either really...or is there?!?

I'll try not to hold it against you but I'll be secretly crying inside. Each missed meeting providing a new layer of density to the core of my being. One day I'll stop moving altogether and break apart knowing what could have been...

  • dogsballs update, this is the nice dawes i got off jon. so much more relaxed ride and cruisy 44:16 gearing.

nice conversion got the same style and as my carlton :)

  • nice one dogsballs. whilst my track bike is in the works i ride my beater fix which is converted from a 27" wheeler like yours. very long, very comfy, with brick-clearance (yous got fag paper? i can stick a brick in mine!). it's slower weaving but isn't really causing too much problem for me.

  • brick clearance, you should see the reach on the calipers. it's also deceiving as this makes the headset look about 1" shorter, than what the length of the seatpost is. was going to sell it, but after sorting out seat angle, it's a dream.

  • Object17
31trum
slamm What chainring is that Object17?
    s'mental!

profile cranks and imperial chain ring
Quite correct - Pretty though they are I wouldn't recommend them. Apart from the obscene weight you also have to cope with the "never going to be central/round" chainring issue.

Don't get me wrong I've used them for 19 months but I can't in good conscience let other people waste the money as they won't do your fixie justice.
what lenght arms they? and are you running a Ti axle? and wot BB for that matter?

  • hey dogsballs, what kind of brake lever is that? I take it the S is for specialized... I like it

  • Thanks hippy!

  • That brake lever is the same one that is on the Langster London... but in black. Anyone seen where you can get the silver langster version?

  • i dont know where to get the silver version but you could sand it then polish it which i think someone did:)

i have the black one and was going to do that to it but couldnt be bothered.

  • i tried to clean my spare with hydrochloric acid, but i left it in too long and fu<ked it severely, all kinda eaten away :(

  • life's too short to prat around with all that shit
