it's sometime really hard to convince the school board (those UK board thing) that the deaf people can play against the hearing because of the difference, the hearing have the 'advantage' of hearing the balls, being able to tell how hard it been kicked, and the referee, etc. so in retrospect, it wasn't a 'fair' games for the deaf people, but still managed to carry on nonetheless.
same go to tennis but that failed and end up having a 'national deaf tennis championship' bollocks.
We were briefed to stop playing when the whistle went to indicate this to the Mary Hare guys. It seemed to work okay. As I recall they were good, competitive games and both teams were fairly evenly matched. -

in that case: if it's about "playing with childish things" as a child and "putting them away" as a man - are we talking about the guy's winkie here?

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
think thats about right. quite a long one.
