@sowetto, it's just the railings out side my work, it's off the ground so the roadsweepers don't keep banging it.
So long as it has a practical purpose and it's not just a hipster affectation. :-)
The bike's nice. Clean and uncluttered... Understated.

been a while, thought it might be time.
after a bad burglary recently i amazingly got my brian rourke recovered from the crack den it was being stored in. police are good for something. the burglars did a shit outside our backdoor as well, which was nice.

at least you still have your beard...

Yeah, and at least 1 hand.
LOL though, in a sort of black, caustic manner, that they'd not only rid you of your treasured possessions but also rid themselves of fecal matter on your doorstep. They could have at least used the toilet, and like not flushed or something. That would've been the decent thing to do.

Yeah, if anything it was more of a swap than a theft.

don't think the poo contained a bike though.
Although it may have contained traces of crack?

Who mentioned editting suites? Reducing one colour channel in a digital image is computer manipulation, regardless of whether it is done in camera or externally.
So, add together the fact that I'm a published photographer, used to sell cameras/work on a lab plus I appreciate what constitutes manipulation, I guess that I know better. And for those of you that aren't into comedy photo effects, but a dSLR (the band is The Steal and the photo is taken with a Canon)
35mm have computers in them too.
Even the older purely mechanical ones can have compnents with the abilty to perform/assist in various calculations.
So to add to this geeky little rift in the faces thread, only the simplest of cameras, nameley a box with a shutter. (like holga's) can be closeley likened to a fixed gear, brakeless bicycle.

hey tomasito, you grew your hair! nice bike, nice view of parli hill too! i want handlebars like that
-
• #2799
cheers lpg - the hair is a pretence to myself that I'm not getting old, but then the handlebars give my senility away. they're Pashley from Cavendish. and yes, it's a great part of the heath, but my favourite is the north-west corner.
