Ah, Graham, I saw you - looking suspiciously late - cycling down Brixton Road on Friday morning.
.I'm always late! Missed you mate, were you on your bike too?

tynan likes bikes with prominent rear ends, facilitated by incongruous splashes of colour.
I don't know what you mean ?
He'd ride a chimpanzee or a baboon with a big shocking pink arse if it passed the weight weenies test on his scales.

(cough) *strawberry blonde *(cough) nice bike though, one of my mates has just got a similar BJ, but without the decals on. In a similar MONSTER size too.
No such thing as strwberry blonde... BRM's a ginge and there's no getting out of it...

I am thrilled by the reappearance of tynan's pink rim.
Was it rattlecanned at home? Did you go straight on top of anodising? Thinking of doing my open pros, if I can be arsed to rebuild.

That's what my girlfriend said that time I nearly drowned in the bath.

Yep, rattle canned at home - the original rim was a DT Swiss RR 1.1 - which was sort of black but I am not sure whether it was anodized or paint ?
Anyhow you need to sand the surface to give the primer a mechanical grip.
** The authentic NJS style Japanese decals are off a vegetable noodle packet. :)

Pistanator - I'm struggling to remember, I was probably going to Boots for top up drugs. The sight of the frame drew my attention away from the Euro One Legged Drug Tourists who were loitering around by the bike locking bars under the bridge.

Cheers, I am thinking it is not slave enough ! I shit you not, I am planning on building a new bike this summer - something truly difficult to justify, a real chromatic crime.

can anyone help me here.... if a frame is 57cm TT, 56.5 CT, 55 CC do you think it will be ok to ride for someone a shade under 6 foot. when people describe a frame as, say, 56cm, are they usually referring to the CT or CC length??
-
• #2246
It means my bikes are usually more sedate colour wise...like my very brown brklyn...but i still think yours looks great...:)
You know, I struggle with word context (seriously) - but now that you have explained it is blatantly obvious.
And for that I will also the same as also.
Where can a man view your 'brown ride' ?

Tynan's bike is the dogs nuts, a triumph of style over practicality, and probably the single most nickable bike in london, i'd guess.

Very nice indeedy, looks like a very posh Charge Plug, must be the white bull horns - what is that frame ??
P.S you have one of your eyes on upside down.

i'd love to see how long it would last, chained up in central london somewhere. we could run a book on it.
you could set a record. i bet it would be gone before you'd put the key back in your pocket
