I actually prefer face pics for avatars, aids in pre-judging et cetera.

In which case, we await your new avatar with interest....

Welcome aboard... quick question are you riding fixed or single speed? If fixie how are you finding using SPD-SL? Is it ok or does it a while to get used to it? I'm still riding single speed on mine because I'm afraid that it's going to be too difficult with SPD-SL to go fixie...

as u can see i have no brakes so it's fixed
spd sl is good for training
they make pedaling more effective and stimulate to train trackstand sometimes because they lil bit harder to catch ^__^
and they are not good for short rides or couriering if you walk much, in this way i'd prefer spd.
i had no problems from the first time i tried them after spd, u just need to set them right.btw i change pedals sometimes cause my Sidi are reconstructable from spd to spdsl

Opsie, I did miss that... I love my SPD-SL too that's why I use them despite the relatively short commute to work (5 miles per leg) but I was indeed afraid about the "harder to catch" part which is the only reason I've been reluctant to switch to fixed from single speed. Shall I give it a try? Maybe in a parking area first :)
