Pistanator Thought it's about time I had a go
I like it. I like red bikes. Reminds me a bit of a Trek T1, which I also like.

SkullheadWilderness
One day. This seems like a good place to show my newly converted moser bike (the frame alone is already on the bike porn thread)
it's my first fixed gear (I've got two other ss conversions) so it takes some getting used to. Haven't ridden it much since I finished it a few days ago since it's been crap weather. -

dogsballs how does your seat post stay up??
I promise it a few beers and a good meal after the ride.
Either that or it's ordering viagra online.
or maybe it's levitation of some sort -

shit, that internal wedge binder system is cool. moser just loved messing with things.

jonny shit, that internal wedge binder system is cool. moser just loved messing with things.
apparently they were used on schwinns (and other brands) too... thing is though, there supposedly hard to find so if they break, there's not much you can do with the frame... you can't hear it, but i'm knocking on wood here ;)
while i like how clean it looks without the seatpost clamp, it's a pity that the seat stays meet the seat tube a little above the top tube. that gives it a weird unbalanced look to me. i personally prefer it when the seat stays are connected to the seat tube at the center of the top tube or lower. but... that's just a minor thing ;)

its the same on the moser on ebay

dogmatic that's the sexiest bike i've seen in a long time. and your first fixed? that's just not fair;)

tomasito dogmatic that's the sexiest bike i've seen in a long time. and your first fixed? that's just not fair;)
Thanks... well, actually all props go to mr Moser's graphic designer... the rest is easy, just buy red and white parts...
As a certain mr.Reed said: "Life's good but not fair at all"
Actually, make me a decent offer and that bike could be yours ;) -
• #1397
Ha, even my best offer would be an insult. The post-Christmas, post-multiple-birthday, post-anniversary money crunch, coupled with working in the most underpaid sector of the media, means that my wallet is not exactly bulging at the moment.
I'll just hang around with my over-insured ugly bikes until one gets nicked ;)
-
• #1398
hey tomasito what happened to that one you got off ebay? what's your bike situation ?
-
• #1399
The one off the bay went back to the seller (don't think he really knew what he was doing...or about as much as me). There were a few probs with it. The rear hub was not stepped - just a bog standard freewheel (which he had called 'track'). I didn't want to go suicide on my first fixed. There was a fork issue in there too....but the guy was very cool about it all and took it back no fuss.
So I just got a bargain Peugeot (i know, i know...) for £60 which I stripped down and am using now, along with the geared bike I commute on. In a month or two I'll get a new wheelset built up...then new frame... then we're away.
I love those pedals/clips i got off you by the way...thanks a lot

cool, keep us posted!
Fuck the mask, what about the wheels?! ;-)
