This time, he's leaving professional racing behind for good.

  • bye cuntface

  • Look what I found..

Loving the badly shopped pic too.

  • I see he's retired. Again....

"This case isn't like Bonds and Clemens," a source familiar with the case said to AP – the latter facing trial for perjury following the alleged use of performance enhancing drugs. "Those were about lying. This is about corruption to the core."

    Ouch.

  • Up early this morning, no doubt they'll be plenty of comment here later.....I've been to Tyler's house.

  • is there news?

  • Tyler is just the aperitif for the full show on Sunday apparently.

  • Ha. The Armstrong camp's 'tactic' of always accusing his accusers of changing their stories does wear a bit thin when the accusers at the same time confess to having lied before--it is somewhat necessary to change your story when you confess to having lied. :)

  • It does seem like he is slowly being backed into a corner.

If he comes clean, it would really fuck up the history books for the results of the Tdf during the whole of the last decade. I mean, where would they stop? If they strip Lance of his title, would they just hand it to the bloke who came second? Or third? The podium was usually made of of Ullrich, Vino, Beloki, Kloden and Basso! Dodgy characters et al!

    What a shit storm...

  • ^^ The thing is while Tyler is probably telling the truth now, he is such a snivelling little shit his credibility as a witness must be zero and Armstrong's team would be stupid not to capitalise on that. He didn't lie just once did he, his defense altered more than once from the moronic "I'm a good american boy" to the vile "it's my dead twin's blood" defenses.

Which is also the same problem with Landis, the lie was more than a simple denial. And what 12 months in, as it stands those two appear to be the main case against Armstrong, can't help but think that the prosecution really need someone with more credibility. All the other evidence appears circumstantial, sickens me to say it but i reckon Armstrong will bully and buy his way out of this.

Hamilton has changed his story after he was subpoeaned to appear in front of a Federal Grand Jury, knowing that if he lied he ran a very real risk of going to jail for perjury. Many other ex-USPS riders (Hincapie, Vaughters, Zabriskie, Andreu et al) also appeared before the same Grand Jury. If their evidence also includes widespread doping on that team then Armstrong is in serious trouble. He was a director of Tailwind Sports, and they were funded by US Federal Government money (the United States Postal Service is a government agency) and if it's shown this money was used to buy black market drugs then there's a case for conspiracy to defraud the government. Government's don't like tend to like that.

  • Still, every other fucker was on gear at the time. I think we should all get a yellow jerseys just for paying attention to this shitstorm.

If it was a Hollywood film, they'd all come forward, along with all the teams and admit that doping was as common as pasta in pro cycling, beg for forgiveness and dance off into the sunset suitably redeemed.

Sadly, in the real world it went on and still does, even at amateur level. There is anecdotal evidence by the ambulance load to suggest it's still very much part of the practice in continental pro cycling.

Too troo. The only time he'll admit anything is:

    a) after he's ran twice for presidency/state governor of Texas.

    b) after the time limit for altering results has passed.

  • It's all going to get very confusing once they have the technology to travel back into the past and mess with stuff.

He does look a bit like Bush. If you squint.

Tell us something we don't already know. You with your fixed obsession.
