Typical of anyone with a 10mil house, I would venture.
And I would concur.

Just a thought, but maybe:
3.9 - what he paid for it, and therefore the value on the land registry
10.0 what his realtor was trying to get, based on market peak
3.1 - what the buyer borrowed to buy it, and quite possibly most of the sale priceLA might be holding a fire sale, because
easier to hide $10mil than a house.
So take a modest hit on the house and bury the money where it will be harder for the pursuers to find it , rather than hang on to the house and lose it all because real estate is easy to lien

Report: Further suspect samples for Armstrong in 1999 Tour
Lance Armstrong tested postiive for corticosteroids four times during the 1999 Tour de France, not just once as previously reported. An internal UCI memo shows the four positive as occurring on July 4, 14, 15 and 21, according to Het Nieuwsblad.
All of the doping controls are said to have shown "traces" of triamcinolone acetonide.
At the time, Armstrong produced a supposedly back-dated TUE which allowed him to use the corticosteroid for a saddle sore. In his doping confession earlier this year he admitted to having illegally used the product. The TUE had been prepared by team doctor Luis Garcia Del Moral, who has also been named in the Armstrong doping case.
The internal UCI memo, prepared by UCI attorney Philippe Verbiest, lists the results for 12 doping controls for Armstrong during the race. He concluded that the UCI acted on good faith, as the quantities found were minimal, although apparently large enough to not be considered a negative test. The UCI therefore found that it was "likely that it was indeed an ointment and not a prohibited systematic use."

Ouch:
The government is suing under the False Claims Act and can recoup up to three times the amount it lost as a result of the fraud.

Is the case directly about Armstrong, or more about Tailwind sports etc? I mean I know LA was the ringleader, bully and general all round c*nt but he's not the only one who dope on the team and thereby not the only one who defrauded the govt. Not to mention JB's involvement.
Not cutting him any slack, but are they after just him or after the whole rotten bag.
-
• #4237
The case is against Tailwind Sports, of which both Armstrong and Bruyneel were shareholders.

"No attempt by Travis Tygart to rewrite history will change the fact that Usada failed to catch Lance Armstrong having tested him just 49 times during his career. The UCI by comparison tested Armstrong 189 times.
Rewrite history, you say?

The UCI's PR output is beyond parody.

I bet it's not, we just need to get tynan on the case. He has a gift for parody.

I'm still not sure if that IS an elephant in the room, myself.
It's absolutely fair to ask questions of Brad/Sky but even if he was to win another 6 times on the trot, he still wouldn't match Lance for slimy arrogance in the matter.I also believe that someone had to win last year. We know Brad is an incredible cyclist and we know the course itself was practically designed for him - it was about and predictable and non-suspicious as a TdF victory gets.
I would also be the first to throw my shoes at him in a press conference if something were to be revealed!

That's nice isn't it. Some nobody getting a bit of limelight by telling the world about Armstrongs sexual habits.

To be fair, all that cycling may have made his bottom a little delicate
easier to hide $10mil than a house.
