I think he sold the Gulfstream jet he bought with a loan from .org and was renting back to .org to transport him on .org business.

I think i would actually prefer not to see pharmstrong crying in public.
The result would probably resemble jimmy savile having a bicycle wank.
blarg.
still, nice that Nike have done the right thing (ish). I'm sure it has nothing to do with the suggestion they bankrolled a coverup being touted around the last few days.

If Lance wasn't really fucked before he is now. And America as a whole.
None other than professional football's very own Jade Goody in the form of Joseph Barton has waded in with his sage nuggets of wisdom, packing them into refined, worldly and erudite terms as only he can on twatter (read from bottom). Illuminating.

Turns out Nike would be crazy to drop him if that many people in one of their biggest markets didn't care he used drugs.

That more than 50% of americans questioned said they weren't bothered if he cheated. And over 80% didn't believe he had.

As a footnote, Nike have never terminated an athlete's contract for being guilty of doping, only not renewed on expiry.
The only thing in their statement different to previous statements re. doping athletes is the comment about misleading Nike, so it would appear he was only sacked for lying to someone about something, not doping at all.

Him and Mark Parker the Nike CEO are/were besties and Parker was appointed during the retirement.
I imagine some pretty fucking big assurances were given that the Comeback 2.0 would in no way ever embarrass Nike as the twat had managed to get away with the first 7 and he was making all the noises about Don Caitlin testing programme and probably having UCI in the pocket too.
The thing that angers me is that not once (!) does anyone mention the fact that this is all down to me shouting 'drug cheat' while slapping the crook of my arm (trying to raise a vein) at Armstrong as he rode by during the Bordeau-Paulliac time trail in 2010.
Yeah in your face Lance Armstrong multimillionaire!
