• From Essex innit.

  • In the document, I think there's something about his HGH use and the fact he got ball cancer. And the fact that he would go against UCI for not detecting his use earlier.

Or on here a couple of pages ago.

  • It was only a matter of time before the dailymash picked this story up...

  • Just watched Alex Dowsett on BBC news say "it doesn't matter" "he's still a legend" "he had cancer and came back and won the tour"

    Or words to those effect.

  • STFU ALEX you tit !

  • It's not just british footballers who are thick as pig shit;

He's a kids, I don't think he even heard of the Festina affair.

He's in serious need of a lesson from Wiggins.

He's a grown man in a professional contract and should know better.

Wiggins outburst isn't any better either. If he didn't want to be asked about doping now, he should have spoken out years ago instead of being part of the 'omerta.'

Everything Dowsett says in the press / says on twitter / endorses makes him out to be as dumb as a box of hair.

A good cyclist, maybe - but as dumb as a box of hair.

  • STFU ALEX you tit !

    +1 looks very silly

  • Is it a possibility that these extreme doping practices brought on his cancer? I realise this is a murky and controversial subject to raise.
Masking his doping use may have also masked any signs of cancer that might have otherwise been picked up during routine testing, possibly leading to the cancer progressing further before being spotted.

  • "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"

    'Si tacuisses, philosophus mansisses.'

I could imagine that quite a few young boys growing up in cycling during that time chose Armstrong as their idol. He'll probably just need some time to get his head around the reality. It's hard to give up your childhood dreams.

  • It's a well known 'fact' that EPO was injected into riders bollox to avoid tell-tale syringe scarring.

  • This was compiled from offically published UCI, WADA and USADA records of tests administered.

They forget that Armstrong has also been tested by God, and God doesn't keep 'records'.

Possibly, the youngsters just don't like being tarnished by the doping of the (not so) past.

Geraint Thomas a month or so ago:

Maybe they don't like that the men they idolised have been shown up as cheating fucks. Nobody likes their heroes being unmasked.

    'zactly.

Yeah, Kendo Nagasaki, I'm looking at you.

  • They forget that Armstrong has also been tested by God, and God doesn't keep 'records'.

He has a massive external drive full of illegal MP3 downloads.

Haha, they did a great story last week about the rise of cycling in the uk which included the line "we're raising a generation that may as well be french"

i think they need to check Dowsett for EPO!

  • Yeah, Kendo Nagasaki, I'm looking at you.
I'm not sure that a few pork pies and several pints of mild counts as systematic doping.

  • Yeah, Kendo Nagasaki, I'm looking at you.

He's looking right back at you

    I'd be scared.

    oh dear alex.

  • i think they need to check Dowsett for EPO!

That would bring Sky down dramatically since they're very much an anti-doping team.
