I don't care if they invest in cycling, or who wins what.
Anyway, this is article s from 2006 so who cares? They have probably moved on.

Doesn't indicate any more effort than 15 key strokes and two mouse clicks.

If only cycling could be as honourable as triathlon

What, rich people who love and invest in cycling?
You didn't seem to mind Bob funding HTC and Cav...
or SKY, national lottery, British Cycling. and Team SKY.

Kind of; the board of WTC who own the Ironman brand actually met to discuss changing their rules just to let him take part but decided that probably wasn't a great idea.
He can do any other tri competition he wants to just not WTC ones.

to be fair at least the kelme jersey looks nice. or even the Telekom. or at a very large push Festina. but then you get this streak of piss:
fuck that for a laugh. makes le groupement look chique, and I own a le groupement full ensemble for the shits and giggles it gives me when other cyclists start puking when they pass me.

Friday sillyness, bored by wind and rain I've just written a short verse/song about the latest Lance stuff,
I think its best sung along to the tune of 'Hitler has ony got one ball.....'.
Lance Armstrong is going to be brought to heel
along with dodgy doctors and Johan Bruyneelyears of the Omerta, with riders saying nada
is finally being challenged by USADAit seems Floyd and Tyler were right all along
he cheated on every tour he was onhis blood results showed incosistency
he can longer hide behind his charitythe UCI must now be shitting it
evidence hints, they were complicitthere was meeting, we dont know the exact day
but Big Tex's Swiss tour positive simply went awayhe'll be stripped of all wins once and for all
for Lance pride comes before a fallthose poor victims of cancer he gave hope
now want their hero swinging from a ropewhy rake thorugh history, some people cry
its old news, why won't you let it liethe reason is plain for all to see
enough is enough said George Hincapieno matter what he spends on Lawyer fees
Lance will finally be brought to his kneeslets rewrite history, as it should be
and make cheating Lance's legacyand you can't say he does'nt deserve it
the man is complete and utter shitDefinately needs a better ending and I'm sure there's better bits to be added to the beginning and middle too!
Feel free to add/edit it.

So surprise surprise he's denying the charges
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/sports/lance.html
same old, never failed test, they picking on me, it was 14 years ago, erm, 2009/10 do the math Lance....
It does seem like the letter was written by an angry parent rather than a lawyer, no doubt these guys cost a fortune, but sounds as they are clutching at straws, and the desperation at not being told the 10 names kind of the hint they know thats the real smoking gun.
So all he's left with is to try and weasel out of it on a procedural infringement, please USADA don't fuck it up on that....

All the "due process blah unconstitutional blah" bullshit is laughable; he's not on trial so due process doesn't apply.
This is a great blog post that compares getting busted for underage drinking at University to LA's problem with USADA.#
“Campus police were called to the room after receiving an anonymous phone call that some students were drinking alcoholic beverages on the balcony. Campus police entered the room and found eight students of mixed gender drinking from red plastic cups. Most of the students appeared to be in various stages of intoxication. No sobriety tests were given. An empty bottle of whiskey was found in the trashcan. Citations were given for curfew and alcohol violations.”
“Miss Zimmerman, how do you plead to these offenses?”
“Not guilty.”
“Why?”
“There’s no evidence that I was drinking.”
“Alcohol was found in the room and the charge is for an alcohol violation which means that you were in a room where alcohol was present.”
“No I wasn’t. An empty bottle of alcohol was found in the trashcan. That’s not alcohol.”
“Doesn’t matter. There was alcohol in that bottle at some point. Guilty as charged.”

Complain about government leaks... by publishing correspondence to them on twitter.
Call Landis a liar and totally unreliable... then quote from his book in legal correspondance because it suits you.
Complain about correct procedure and unfair lack of access to evidence/witnesses then directly appeal to the review board before it convenes to tell them to drop the case.
Works both ways Lance...

I thought the difference was that previously he could dismiss everything as 'allegations', whereas now they were actual charges?
Obviously, his camp will probably try to continue to use the word 'allegations' to mislead people as to their status, a very common tactic of word manipulation.

It's worth noting though that as yet no one has been charged.
