• If only he could get in shape and give it a crack this year.

  • Most interesting sentence is this:" fully consistent with blood ma*nipu*la*tion including EPO use and/or blood transfusions"

Goes back to a Michael Ashenden comment about being able to track tell take signs without actually being able to charge on the basis of those signs. Seems like USADA are going ahead anyway.

  • It's Phil and Paul I feel sorry for.

  • Banned from Triathlons

    trolloolol

  • yassss.... Pharmstrong Inc. is finally going to get put out of business.

  • Only thing LA taught me was that becks blue is third of the calories and carbs of regular beer.hic cheers.

  • So, could he go to jail then? Surely the feds/dea will have summat to say if he gets found guilty..

  • no, don't think jail is part of their remit. Prob why the federal investigation was quashed-no jail on the table but retrospective bans, then also legal action from all the companies that he took money off of for winning his titles.

  • Armstrongs foundation just spend $185,000 on www.whatever.livestrong so they've got some dollar hanging around...

  • he should blame it all on dodgy meat

  • no, don't think jail is part of their remit. Prob why the federal investigation was quashed-no jail on the table but retrospective bans, then also legal action from all the companies that he took money off of for winning his titles.

and paying back prize money too.

The tri thing is fucking hilarious though.

  • It's Phil and Paul I feel sorry for.

"That's right, Will, when I used to comment on Lance Armstrong myself many moons ago, the pain was often written across my face in situations like this; but it wasn't written with pens, it was written with needles."

  • Shit just got real.

Apart from loving the legalised notation of 'Edgar Allan Poe', I'd like to buy Lisa McCumber a fucking drink. Outstanding.

  • It's Phil and Paul I feel sorry for.

I feel sorry for Bill and Ben.

  • It's Phil and Paul I feel sorry for.

Fucking brilliant. I just blew snot into my 'tash at that one. I must spread rep, however.

I'd love to hear their take on it, I really would.

“He told me in a private situation, when I wasn’t working as a journalist. I was sat in the bedroom some years ago, and I asked him point blank, ‘look Lance, the way I talked you up on television, I would have to back off and resign if you one day went positive’. And he looked at me and he said ‘man I’ve seen death in the face and I don’t take drugs.’ And that’s all he said. I have no reason to disbelieve him.”

Applies for job as ITV cycling commentator

  • The Times has three pieces about cycling today. This ought to be good. However.

The longest is about the boring twerp Armstrong.
The second is about Miller and his possible return to the Olympics despite his drug abuse.
The third is about A Schleck pulling out of the Tour and manages then to focus on the fact that he was awarded the 2012 Tour due to Contador's doping.

    Three doping stories.

    Armstrong's Legacy.

  • Since Johan Bruyneel is in the crap too does he get banned from working in cycling?

  • leave britney alone

  • He'll keep working, if the UCI have anything to do with it.

It looks like the USADA decision to prosecute has caught the UCI off guard, so they'll keep their collective heads buried in the sand for now.

The UCI is not aware of the information that is available to USADA on the persons concerned and has not been involved in the proceedings opened by USADA.

    I know nothing!

  • Are we going to spend all July reading about Armstong in the press again even as Britain has its first TdF win?.... depressing. wish he would just go away

  • Pics from Phil 'Legit' interview with Armstrong released, clean as a whistle guv…

  • The third is about A Schleck pulling out of the Tour and manages then to focus on the fact that he was awarded the 2012 Tour due to Contador's doping.

How depressing that this year's Tour's already been decided, has been won by someone who won't even be there because someone else who won't be there has been banned for doping.
