The only thing that I find funnier than Froome's wife bitching and moaning on Twitter is how worked up some of you are getting over it.

"Thomas Voekler just warming down the muscles of his face. He won't want them seizing up tomorrow"

LOL@Brad.
All that performance crap! -

Is Nibali impressed yet?
haHe should have gone, or was wiggins real close to blowing up? He couldn't lose too much in the last 2 km could he?
looked fine to me, sure he would've at least finished with vanden broeck if froome had gone off the front

Nobody asked Wiggins the awkward question?
The rivalry thing is hype but he should have let Froome go for the win just for good relations (and Froome's relations on twitter).

I guess when you're trying to hammer it up a mountain, changing a plan you've been making for 6 months doesn't feel too easy.

It's not like they haven't had the calculator out on any stage before

Tactics do change during the race and sky have been awesome (until today) at doing the right thing.

Seems Wiggins is saying he lost concentration on the final climb, he'd knew he won the Tour as they crested the Peyresourde.

He'll crash tomorrow and break a collarbone now.

His q ring makes me nervous.

At the end of the day Froome is a pro and is employed to support Wiggins, he knows this, he will also know that if he pays his dues then, with the amount of talent that he obviously possesses, he will get a shot at the gc with a big team, if not sky. Why should Wiggins do anything if the wife of One of his team-mates is essentially bitching about him and his employers publicly?

@gallagherbren Wiggins confirms he told Chris Froome to go for win at foot of the Peyragudes and rode up final climb with tears in his eyes . .
-
• #3340
^^ He should have done for the Palamares, good relations in the team and to secure his 2nd place in the GC. He's no threat to Wiggins so why not?
I understand why the DS played it safe but I think Wiggins didn't make the perfect call.
-
• #3341
If Wiggins told Froome to go and the DS called him back, hat else could he do?
-
• #3342
Stop and burst into tears.

^^^HTFU Brad, jeez.

• #3344
Yelling "I don't need this pressure".

It's a good question. I'd listen to the man in yellow (and ruin my career probably).

Johnathon Vaughters: prevent Froome/Wiggo drama in the future?Establish equitable budget limits and active transfer market. Avoids talent"hoarding"by rich teams
Poor Garmin and their talentless riders
