  • That was played brilliantly by Millar all day.

    Old guy power!

  • 4 different UK stage winners plus the Maillot Jaune. Quite impressive!

  • so happy for Millar!

  • Cracking game from Henman there.

  • He has waited a long time for that and I for one think he deserves it. Millar 2.0

  • I was rooting for Millar there. Nice.

  • Let's hope Millar can find some form in the next couple of weeks to justify his controversial slot in the British Olympic team....36th at 4:14 in his specialist discipline.

    Happy?

  • Ha, Sagan not impressed!

  • Sagan pissed at Goss - not surprised

  • Goss not sprinting very gentlemanly

  • Liking Millar's post match analysis.

  • So happy for Tim

  • If the French riders were winning at the same rate as the poms, they'd have to have won 34 stages by now.

  • Loving this years tour. Just wow

  • blow for Gossy's green jersey ambitions

  • And my velogames team. Didn't think about that did he, the selfish bastard.

  • Jimmy has some old druggy author called David Millar in his team.

    Who knew?

  • yeah its about time he scored some points for me, the lazy drug-riddled bastard

  • Just got round to reading Wiggins' article in the Guardian

Had a little lump in my throat, love it when people have true passion for what they do.

  • It caused a lot of venting of spleen over at the clinic for its jingoism, because he stressed the unforgiving nature of the British media and people towards drug cheats as opposed ot Italy or France. I guess unless you've lived here you don't get the British 'sense' of fair play, 'it's not the winning, it's the taking part'. It may sound trite but it did ring very true. British sportsman aren't whiter than white, and poor old Tommy Simpson got more than a few honourable mentions, but we're also not ruthless winners like some . We like to win but you'll always get a round of applauds for trying your best, and a cold shoulder for being dishonourable. Tennis is a great example of that.

Did anyone else spot the BMC rider going arse over tit at the depart? Good to know the pros still get caught out by being clipped it

  • Was Marcus Burghardt. Wouldn't fancy 220km after that.

  • the barrier looked like it may have reconstructed his face

  • Mick Rogers pissed at Aussies booing him and Richie Porte, you stay classy Antipodeans.

  • Guardian article was ace and a welcome air-clearer. I especially enjoyed this amongst the comments:

"He forgot to add 'c*nts' at the end. Everybody needs a catchphrase."

That was mine. Got taken down.

  • No Brits booing Cummings for sure. That's not good if true
