Ooh, do I go for Wednesday or Thursday? Which is the day with Tourmalet, Aubisque, Aspin etc? I've taken that route myself so that may be fun.

Wednesday, but the finish is downhill. Thursday has the Port de Bales, then the Peyresourde (immediately after a very short bt technical descent) and a summit finish.

Ah, why does anyone have to work during the tour? It's inhumane.

Wiggins explaining on Twitter that Froome did not attack him at the finish.
We were in the shower last night and I said to Zola I that if she was feeling frisky and could keep it up with the big boys then she could have a spurt at the end.

Loved the touch between Nibali and Wiggins today on the finish line. Also loved it when Wiggins went to the front to close Nibali down. I will never understand how Froome, who looked like he had cracked, got back on and looked strongest in the finale.

For a team sponsored by a media company, Sky are making a right old mess of controlling the story.

The real story?

Schleck is now saying he heard Wiggo tell Froome to slow down.

The real story?
Any of it. The doping angle first and now this. You'd think they'd have a strategy for the former as a bare minimum and, after the Vuelta last year, the outlines of a strategy for the latter.

The gay relationship between Wiggo and Froome dog is a private matter in my book.

From our sofa, Bradley touched hos nose and kept looking left when talking. We think he's fibbing about froome dropping him.

You only have to take one look at Dave 'Bouncer' Brailsford to understand that the whole team is Greek in every aspect.

I think that in the heat of the moment Froome may have pulled away for the chase thinking that Wiggo could match. Or maybe just got carried away. No big scandal, just a quick telling-off on the Sky bus.

They don't pay their debts?

Ironic today that the two lieutenants looked stronger than the captains, or should I say Colonel. Different strengths: clearly Froome is a climber that can time trial, and Wigs the other way round, and this tour suits more. Next tour on a different parcours and Froome will be leader I think. Nice to see Nibs and Wigs make up.
sad for cuddles: is that wrong?

Are they allowed to ride naked then?
Or is that an illegal skin suit? -

Wiggins for TDF and unleash Froome at Vuelta? Bert+Schleck takedown?

Looked like he went to the back of the bus for a breather. He's the better climber of the pair,

It is better to try and fail that not to have tried at all.
He's a tough bugger who has more fight in him than most of the rest of the peleton put together, so I'd not write him off just yet.

Way his shoulders were going I thought it was over for him.
Apparently the final climb was quite slow (in historic terms), but they were at it hammer and tongs all day so I don't know how much you can read into that.

Yesterday was hard, tomorrow's breakaway could be interessant.
Also, Pinot is a good rider.

I bet Rolland is delighted at Pinot's emergence, as he now has someone to help shoulder the expectations of a nation.
Europcar were immense today, and Rolland's win was well deserved and a just reward for their efforts.
Thursday.
