Okay now I understood. It does, very easily as it's the same bracket used for attaching stays to fork.

does anyone know what (if any) mudguards can be squeezed onto a ratter track bike? I love riding it round london but I'm beginning to tire at the constant wet foot/shin combo if its even vaguely wet. I'm riding a Condor Pista EOM currently with minimal clearance, tyres are 25mm. If anyone has suggestions I'm open to them!

Recommendations for 26" x 1.95 mudguards?
Was going to pull trigger on SKS again, but seeing if anyone has any recommendations first. -

I always say flinger.

Cheers! My LBS says the same thing. Unfortunately, he's sold out, and so is everywhere else at the moment.
Any idea what size I'd need for 26"x 1.95? -

60mm?
-
• #5258
Yep. Will be neat, but should do the job. Cheers.

Anybody know of 700c X 45-47mm metal mudguards in stock which isn't quite Honjo prices?
-
• #5260
I put a pair of long boards on Liz’s ‘Phyllida’ (into the city bike) this morning. They look ok. So glad I ordered a quick link for the chain at the same time as the guards, on off on off on off.

Mudguard choices for bikes with 40mm tyres but no mudguard eyelets?
Cross bikes make great gravel bikes except for the lack of mounting points.

P clips not take your fancy?
-
• #5263
Yeah I guess, just live in hope of having maybe one bike that isn’t all bodgy

GB?
http://www.bike-components.de has Honjo mudguards for good prices, but no smooth ones in stock at the moment. If you like hammered or fluted, worth a look.

They're also better than VO.

GB is relevant thanks. But 5omm might be too much. I am currently using Bluemels 45mm.
Honjo is alright not available in the right sizes.
I bought these this morning: https://www.thansen.dk/cykel/udstyr-og-tilbehor/skaerme/skaermsaet-med-stiver-sort-agnete-28/n-1351315647/pn-242619814
Not sure they are long enough and not sure on width but will receive and measure them and send back if not appropriate.

Edge Al?
-
• #5268
That could work if actually alu and.not just a flimsy laminate. But I am worried the square profil won't fit my CX carbon forks
-
• #5269
Yeah they are alu and plenty rigid. You're right that the square profile may be troublesome depending on the fork though

Raceblades might do you well, can take them off for the summer easily too.
-
• #5273
They look good but I am not sure it will work. They'll be plan B tho

Arh yes they are perfect. Thx. I got the Thansen ones arriving today. I'll see if I can make some sweet custom hardware for them and make them work.
But it always instas.
