Yes, there is that. I'll see how it looks when wheels are on.

Just be careful when riding down curbs at low speeds

Is there a go-to mudguard for larger than road tyres? I just bought a cyclocross bike, that comes with 35c knobbly tyres. I'm planning to stick some 28mm road rubber on it immediately to get me out on the road, but in the future I'll be sticking some wider gravel tyres on and would like to have mudguards that can accommodate everything, really.
SKS Bluemels in 53?

How big are you going to go in the future? 53 guards are obviously going to look ridiculous over 28c tyres and even kinda large over 35c. They'll work though. A decent rule of thumb is that the guards should be 10mm bigger than the tyres

Maybe up to 42 mm. It looked like you can also get bluemels in 42 mms width, but not sure they'll really keep me very dry if I'm running 35mm+ tyres?

I had 38c and 45mm guards for a long while and it worked well. They were fully slick tyres though.

Mudguards for 650b X 47/48, what do people use? As much coverage as possible as I'll have little ones in the trailer behind

Top tip for mudflaps - cannibalising a plastic pot works really well. The 'top' lip maintains shape really well if pointed towards the floor.
Plus supercheap. Just make sure that you don't have it 'too long' if you're going for grav grav...

Good job, I clamped a piece of plastic to a dowel and then used a heat gun on it while gradually tightening the clamps (don't have a green thumb, thus no ready access to plant pots).

I've got some sks edge al 56mm that I'm currently trying to make work for this. Am optimistic, though they're very definitely designed for 700c * 45 ish, the radius is large. I reckon they'll bend and hold in relatively well though

Just 2 hours to put mudguards on. I've got a terrible feeling tomorrow mornings commute is gonna be filled with me swearing at them for rubbing

Every time doing a repair and commute on the next day is kind of interesting. At least for me.
Also ordering two pairs of
Gilles Berthoud 26 inches fenders, one pair for 2.3 tyres and another one for 2.15 for wife bike- should I go with 60 mm for both? Or 50 and 60?
Nice dry feet
