MA3K We had a great ride, thank you all for making it happen.
See you at the Dunwich, I'll bring the poppers.
Sounds like you all had a ball. Wish I could have made it. Delays with our flight. Coach wouldn't let us on when we arrived here. Took fuckin ages to get home. Even missed the party @ the Junction. Bollockz.
So when is the next one?

I agree with mareeoh, before the end of August.
Maybe we can get 60 riders next time, tell a friend, we all know the route now.

@ punk pixel
not sure I'm going to make it down to polo,
trying to get some friends to head out to the rise thing up in finsbury park.
what time does polo finish and where exactly is it?
If no ones up for rise I'll pop down otherwise may have to make an alternative date.ps sorry about the name confusion, so many names, so many aliases, all got a bit confusing there...

im uploading the photos, will be there soon!!

just wanted to add my thanks to mareeoh and ma3k for organising and keeping it all together. also to cornelius and (i'm sorry I don't know your nickname - guy with the brown langster) for stopping to help when I got a cramp going through the tunnel on piccadilly!
I checked my odometer this morning and it says 133 km total distance. Seeing as I only put the bike together on friday night and it's a new computer (as the old one was on my old bike when it got stolen) I reckon we did about 110 km last night. (btw, top speed in one of the sprints was 47 kph :)

frickin' awesome ride guys! Really good to meet some new faces. Those of you that didn't show, you missed a blinder!
Loved how we just took over the roads wherever we went. And caning it throught the Piccadilly Tunnel was mental!Did anyone else catch the look on the policewomans face at Hammersmith on the way to Primrose Hill?
Absolutely Priceless!A few pics here (poor show on the photo front from me this time, hardly any came out!)
You got some wicked pics there Mario.

slamm: I love the light streaks on your photos man - very picasso!
And mareeoh had one where the reflectors on the back of several people's shoes come out like stars - it's like being your own constellation..

Was there a cat on this ride? Funny I don't remember seeing that..
-
• #237
yeah, it was riding a miniature Keirin frame and was the one that was leading in all the sprints!
p.s. it's just started hammering it down here, with thunder and the like, how lucky were we last night that it didn't rain!
-
• #238
Yeah the weather behaved itself for once, kittens don't like riding in the rain either.
I just got the thunder here too.
-
• #239
thunder and lightening in brixton now. must be heading south..
-
• #240
heavy rain all the city, shit!!! i wanna go out, my pizza today, lol...
the cat was in brick lane lol
-
• #241
i used to see that cat all the time when i was living up the road. it's got strange paws that look as though it has an extra toe. i used to call it 'tommy fat foot'.

A little late but cheers to everyone, especially routefinders.
It was me (I think) with Stef and dt who got split up from the pack on the way back- so special thanks for letting me trail you as far as Oxford Circus- man you ride hard!
Trying to keep up with the whirr of that aerospoke was an education.
