I have no clue what you're referring to, sorry.
If I may ask, What would you like to know?
-
• #4578
nevermind
sell, celebrate and be merry

Yea that's a steal. It's very hard to find a V3 for sale. I'm surprised it took so long to sell.
Gangsta Tracks are a Holy Grail for many peeps here in NYC.

To think that when I posted my number 18 gangsta on the second post of this very thread, ten years ago. . . Back when the frameset sold for about 900 quid in the UK... Many people laughed and called it overpriced... And now jokers are selling them for 2500...they're great frames... But they're not two and a half grands worth of great! :)

I hear you.
They're pretty hyped up now, especially since the BMW shop is closed. Someone will buy it. Demand is high here in NYC, can't say the same for other places.

But for under a grand you could get something with the same geo built...

Should I repaint my frame?
I have the Brooklyn Element E1 Protype. If I repaint it it'll lose its value. I just feel like the color is too bright. It's yellow btw.
-
• #4585
No
-
• #4586
you'd lose its goin price of $950,000,000
-
• #4587
Funny. Lol.
I honestly wouldnt even sell it. Thats why I was debating on repainting it.

Whoever spends $3k on a brooklyn needs their head looking at
-
• #4589
If your not going to sell it then doesn't matter what you do with it. So paint it if you want to

Its basically the debut of the element collab they once did with the skateboard brand element.
Geometry is very close to V1 gangsta. Only difference is that is frame is extremely Small and the cluster fork is made with a different metal.

Looks mor v2/launchpad to me
-
• #4595
where did they sell those? i remember the collab. I would keep it yellow. bumble bee?
-
• #4596
This is a Launchpad... with a sticker Element.
-
• #4597
ye the round chain/seatstays implicate launchpad. Nice frame as it has more rear tyre clearance vs gangsta
-
• #4598
They never sold it. This is the collab frame which is actually just a prototype they repainted yellow for the actual collab.

That's what I was thinking to be honest. I want to do a nice powder coat in a deep blue or oxblood.
