A V1? Just curious, did it come out of the 'shop with the rear canti mounts or were they added later?
-
• #4253

I know, I did feel a bit bad after reading the news.
This is the second frame builder that's shut up shop a couple of weeks after I've got one of their frames. I got a Jericho mountain bike about 15 years ago and same thing happened.

i guess the V3 didn't do the saving they were hoping for. to be honest i'm surprised they were still going in 2016
-
• #4267
Kinda amazing considering the price tag, surely they sold enough to make a profit?
-
• #4268
they have closed before and reopened. shame though. where is pharrel in all this?
-
• #4269
they probably genuinely did cost quite a lot to make hence the price tag, i've only seen about 3/4 on teh webs. Did they ever actually release the large one?
-
• #4270
I was waiting for one in large, never saw one, this is shit...
-
• #4271
This is true, didn't know they never sold the large one!
Guess the problem came before they could make the rest, that or there are loads of large v3's sitting in a factory in Brooklyn somewhere...
Is a shame tho.

• #4272
i don't even see why it's a shame they where cool in the 90s and early 00s but they never changed with the times
-
• #4273
Shame as they where a cool small (right?) company, who made a bike I really enjoy.
But I get your point, would be have been interesting to see what they had done if they had pushed it a bit rather than making the same frame again.

• #4274
they where a cool small (right?) company
they've been owned by multi millionaires for a while now
-
• #4275
maybe they couldnt be arsed to transition into gravel, disc road and cx segments
who would buy a new fixie these days :-)
no more coasting?
