Ted said on Instagram the other day that he has some unfinished ESBs coming up for sale.

Used to have an ESB crazy fun, but had a MID BB and much more trick inspired frame.

true. and probably what I will do with the money instead!

smear some dirt and stickers on it and put it in your bag. or bring parts over with you to half build it

I'd probably get a pompino/pompetamine frame resprayed to look nice and get a Talbot Frameworks fork.

Just curious does anyone know what a new v1 costed back in the day? I wonder why it's so expensive now, or is it just because they can? Too bad because I like it so much.

I wonder why it's so expensive now
Because it's not 2007.

Definitely this.

Talbot or Super Ted if it was me.

Cool flip of the logo, would look rad as sticker.

What's all the fuss around Talbot?
-

Really depends where you're based. I'd go to rychtarski or orlowski for price but I'm based in London and love the stuff that Matt at Talbot has been doing so I'd probably go see him, I'd try to go somewhere local so you can be involved in the process more. Also Rob at Quirk cycles is fairly fresh but has done some really nice work including a nice Brooklyn type fixed bike for his girlfriend.

^^they quite recently had a run of those quite cool gangstaish forks made

From memory Ted James has done some in the past too.

He builds things like this, is London based and on here.

Either would be good. Think Ted cut the fork crown plates for talbot's forks.

They also do all the paint in-house too so can do some pretty sweet stuff.
-
• #3447
Hmm. The Oak bloke was on here too...

I wonder why it's even more expensive now
They were always very expensive for what they were. Now they're even more so.
My guess would be the guys behind BMW are getting older and realising how much medical insurance is in the States.

Matt at Talbot seems to be doin some incredibly rad builds.
So good. But my loyalty will forever lie with Ted. If I was to ever get a custom frame (which I very much doubt) it would have to be from him.

Ted rebuilt a set of forks of mine.
Full of good advice and always a smile.
You can buy a lot of vegan pizza for £900 though...
