Officially up for sells. Will be interesting to see the geo if it's changed much. Anyone reckon the tubing material/choice will make much of a weight difference? Wouldn't mind one but think I'll be sticking w mine..

i really like that it has bottle cage mounts and a 27.2 seatpost
-
• #3156
27.2 post was not a problem before. a shim costs under 10€ and you can use your regular posts.
feel sorry for the peeps that bought a 29.8 thomson.

$1400 for the new gangster when the touring version costs $950?
http://brooklynmachineworks.com/products/tour-boro
Is there really that much difference in production costs between the two or is it just the hipster tax of a gangster v3?

I just ordered 6 of those uniqlo tees and no o e in Sweden will be wearing them. WIN! @ £4.90 I couldn't say no.

• #3169
They're going to make a version in Taiwan, which will be closer to the boro price. And I think they're only making 42 in Brooklyn anyways (14 in each size)...

So I stripped the frame and went for a phosphate treatment and Matt lacquer. The phosphate will act as a barrier to rust but also discolour with age, a better option to Lacquering straight over raw steel. I've added a close up to show how the discolouring is already happening. Kept most of doms finishing kit, changed the saddle and crankset putting the camo AArn I managed to get my hands on. Stoked :)
