  • ended up getting some black paselas, kojaks where a little too slicky for my liking

@FFF them barlow pass's are nice, they do a 700c no?

  • yes and my bad as barlow pass is 700c

meant Lierre but got mixed up with all the interweb sites lying around on my work desk top

must be all the booze i'm having atm

  • Lierres are swish too, might go for the Barlow pass's next time if 38's would fit... Kind under the impression they wouldn't tho

  • they might not fit and hence 650b would be better

here my ex with 35mm racing ralphs

it was tighter around the seat stays, that was where it the first problem appeared. nothing that couldn't be solved with a larger cog though..

  • Double 5 spoks, brklzz, insanely slave and so so epic!

  • slack chain.

  • Racing Ralphs is knobby though, meaning a 38mm slick might fit neatly.

  • Possibly. 35mm slicks fit in without a problem on my V1 (paselas+open pros btw).
Being able to play around with a few different cogs/chainrings definitely helps find the 'right' spot between wheel-rubbing and wheel-slipping-out

  • anyone tried both the og fork and the cluster fork? Is the og fork heavier/flexier?

  • hevier and rly stiff. Uncomfortably stiff with road tyres imo

  • Saw a nos V2 short in W-base Tokyo for about £500. Really nice little shop.
Talked to the guy about bmw- they have loads of park bikes and sell them more. He said the V2 was the only Brooklyn left.

  • Did they sell other BMW stuff or was it only the frames?

  • Looks like the one @Antidotes tried to buy...

  • Yep, there she is, they can't be asked to ship overseas.

  • Just frames I think. Is there something specific you want? I'm going back to Tokyo and around more bike shops at the end of the week.
I've already promised @IR some hubs if I see them.

@antidotes lol - not enough space in my bag to bring it. They had a used green mash frame in your size sitting outside the shop too!

  • You have enough frames anyway ha!

  • I know a man in Tokyo.

  • Little update.
    New fork (ted)
    Magura disc brake
Wheels (h+son, suri, hope, dt, 32mm panaracer)
    Thomson stem

    love it

  • Is the fork the ones that Ted was making?

Looks sweet, desperate to put a disc on mine.

  • Haha don't even mention it, I wouldn't want to burden anyone on holiday with the task of shipping a gangsta to the UK in one piece + it not going missing in customs.

    Enjoy your holiday man.

But... If a Japanese Akita so happens to find itself in your suitcase when you're packing and it gets through customs then fucken dibs mate.

  • i was sure that you bought it, because the green frame is not available in online shop anymore :)

  • I've wanted one of the bmx stems for my park bike. Its on my shopping list for when I go to Japan (hopefully next year).

Enjoy Tokyo it's a great city, I can't wait to go back for the Raman!

  • I thought it had gone as well, they probably got sick of people on the forum asking if they can ship overseas.
