Welcome to the club, sexy...

White tyres aren't allowed in the club ever.

I was talking about the frame I've just received but you're damn right. Current build is a failure.

Can we see full photo.
Kinda feeling the white tyre... I feel dirty -

Looking to put a front caliper on just for the meantime till I decide on whether to go full CX mode.
Are these any good? -

so, get dirty:
@Dakin, I would like to go SS on my V2, too. Seems that Shimano R650

or Dia Compe BRS 202 can do the job.

My modified Park Bike.
I bought the complete bike from Seth Rosko (http://rosko.cc/) who is ex BMW. This frame has been modified to run a 26" rear. According to Seth this bike was a middle ground before they came out with the 26" Big Ben.
It's been modified by cutting a new slot into the dropout and then modifying the rear brake bridge to take a 26" wheel. A ISO disk tab was then welded on. It runs an old american style eccentric bottom bracket.
It looks like it's had a lot of good use in its time, and has recently it's been sitting in a workshop in Brooklyn gathering dust. So far I've had the rear wheel rebuilt as the rim was shot, but will probably replace a few other bits and generally clean it up.
Colour is sparkle granny smith, but the paint is chipped in plenty of places. Not sure if I'll get a respray or clean and clear-coat it.
It'll take a 26" rear but the clearance is tight, 26x2.1 doesn't fit, I think 26x1.95 might fit but didn't have one to hand. Right now I've got a 26x1.75 which is fine.
So far it's been great fun to ride :)

I've got the R650 on mine, fits ok.
-
• #2144
but did you drill the forks?
-
• #2145
Ah yeah I forgot, I did have to drill them out a wee bit. The hole on the V2 fork wasn't quite wide enough for the bolt on the R650.
-
• #2146
OK. Since I don't want to mess around with my forks, the R650 is not that nice.

When will i know if i have additional custom fees to pay ?
Looking on USPS tracking it went through customs clearance this afternoon.

When you get a letter through your door or phone them up because you've noticed it hasn't moved for days once arriving in the local depot yet you've heard nothing from them.
