I think I prefer the pauls as hubs but I really couldn't fault the operation of dem chubs.

no, he rode in fixed class. After weekend I might post some pictures of shit that got Indra'd in that race.
In Freewheel class most rode with HT and DH mostly, but the race was won on a race BMX.

I can get one. Nothing special though. Flite, compact drops and homemade dummy levers, 71GI, SPDs, 28c tyres and a bar bag. Not wholly different from how it's usually set up in all honesty!
