We missed the best of it in S London. Presume you are further North?
I was watching LightningMaps at 4am, willing the strikes Southwards, to no avail!

It kicked off here at about 5 and is gently rumbling now. Birds are still singing through it.

I thought Putin had launched a preemptive strike when I woke up. It was pretty heavy in Stokey.

I woke up for a piss and acknowledged the storm I knew about was here but that was about it. Result I guess. I'd say "we need the water" but I'm not sure that's true.

I woke up thinking the nudes I send to random people had gone viral and the paparazzi were outside.

I tried selling them to the sun but even they weren't interested in Furries stuff.

Meaning you kept yours? The daily fail was paying people to destroy them, sight unseen.

me: finally a chance to enjoy the nice weather for the first time in the garden in our new gaff

Not British weather, but there have been some pretty ferocious storms across the US in the last few days, including this multi vortex tornado in Iowa yesterday evening.

.Sadly this hit the small town of Greenfield shortly after this footage was taken.

This was taken from the inside of the car I was driving in Houston last week. (Sister took the footage)
We were right in the path of the main front and there were two confirmed tornados from this stormy. EF-1 tornado touched down a few miles away about the time we took the video. Another one hit the downtown area shattering windows. The high rise in the photo with the boarded up window used to the the Enron building.
@RonAsheton would appreciate the video

Wow! Did you see Reed Timmer's drone footage of the Iowa tornado this week? Incredible structure, multiple vortices, collapsing windmills. I think it may even be better than the amazing footage from the Wichita, KS tornado two years ago.
It's been a crazy tornado season so far, some really big stuff.

It’s just been hailing in not so sunny Clapham ! -

May wasn’t that bad, so yes maybe it has arrived late.
Parents delivering their kids to school nearby wearing jumpers and puffy jackets in June… yikes.

Wow! I've always wanted to go to the great planes and see the storms and tornados

Me too!!! Back in the late 90s I was flying into Houston on the way to Memphis and our approach was delayed while a storm went through. Apparently SEVEN tornadoes had touched down around the airport in a mini outbreak, Of course I didn't see a fucking thing.
Another time the ex and I drove through a storm in North Mississippi that I was certain was going to kill us. Driving at night, zero visibility, car was being tossed around by crazy straight line winds, it was amazing. We were trying to find our way to Junior Kimbrough's Juke Joint so nothing was gonna stop us. This was in the days before GPS and all that other useful shit, just an X on a crappy road map and a torch. It was a great night.
I recently missed a waterspout here in QLD, touched down a few hundred metres from my fucking house, I was gutted.
