I'm not moaning. (Although the early rain tonight can do one, was at the furthest point away from home on my evening ride when it started pissing down. The met office were forecasting that rain for after 9 pm. Bastards).

Down in the Southwest we still have a hosepipe ban. The local reservoir was full over a month ago but because we are managed within a region nearly 200 miles long we have to put up and shut up about the increase in bills that is on the horizon. Some local holiday sites have a hot tub in every rental which have to be refilled every few days even when they are empty. Because they are businesses the ban doesn’t apply to them. It’s like we’re acting out Chinatown II.
