  • Don't worry, I'm going to order a water butt and rainwater diverter so it will be bone dry until November

  • My neighbour (weather forecaster) put me onto https://www.wxcharts.com/
    Great resource. Long term maps.
Weather looks shit for the next 2 weeks.

  • Merde

  • That's a lot of rain. Gah. I need gills.

  • I follow this guy and he does quite well, still sitting in the fence for the end of this month though.

  • I do not miss being a part of this conversation, I used to feel so cheated on those years when a summer didn't really happen... Hope it improves soon...

  • I don't know what you lot are on about. It has been t-shirt weather on the Suffolk coast today. Fair bit of sun too.

  • Do us all a favour and divert it through MTB-idles front room, would ya?

  • Installs rain water diverter and water butt. Rain immediately stops only to be replaced by freezing temperatures and a wind like that from from Satan’s ass

    Fuck you weather fuck you

  • Mwahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Fucking sick of this now.

  • Next: crushing heatwave

  • You guys should try being chubby. Really takes the edge off.

  • Working on it.

  • walking home from work tonight got soaked and it was fucking freezing
    UK weather is shit

  • Someone on here recently wrote that Summer doesn’t happen some years, and cold rainy Spring transitions into cold rainy Autumn over a week or two.

Please someone tell me that isn’t true.

  • We had summer in March.

  • Here it was summer if you had a south-facing conservatory but step outside and the air was more than a little fresh.... still is, in fact.

  • Folks - this is not a DRILL! - its gonna be 22 with the sun out this long weekend! Lap it up - might be the best we get.

  • But doesn't the sun 'bring the idiots out' ?

  • driest ever april, wettest ever may, go figure

  • I remember years where you barely saw blue sky, the temperature barely got above 20°c and then it was Carnival and you knew it was effectively all over... Rare but crushing all the same...

I would find it very difficult (read impossible) to switch back to that kind of situation, I fucking love the sunshine... Undiagnosed SAD guy here...

  • But doesn't the sun 'bring the idiots out' ?

Yes. Idiocy is solar-powered. Still wouldn't mind some warm weather though.

  • this sun this morning feels incredible. Have we made it through?
