  • People who want their country back often spout a load of nostalgic tosh about how things used to be.

Well they are getting their wish. Today's weather is the very essence of my Monday mornings as a child.

  • 11.20pm and it's still 33°c...

    Fuck this...

  • midday full sun and still only 5c

    fuck this

    house swap ?

  • I'm gonna go hide in the bedroom with the AC, this is ridic...

No swapsies thanks... Heat > cold

  • I wasn't going mad, last night was the hottest night on record where we are... 27.8°c, humidity took it up to 33°c...

We're right by the sea so generally get a sea breeze, absolutely still last night...

  • Right now it's 35°c feels like 43°c... Storms on the way... I hope...

  • Well that was horrible, thought I was gonna collapse at one point... Super uncomfortable, back down to a pleasant 25°c after a bit of rain... Storms missed us but that rain has cooled everything down quite a bit...

    Relieved...

  • ^ why i sacked off the colonies.

-2 out, clear day. ace on toast.

  • groan

  • Some Doris woke me up this morning by knocking over a wheeliebin.

  • Carnage down SE. Fence has gone.

Not sure how we can rebuild after this.

  • QE2 bridge closed, M25 will be backed up in both directions for hours.
Hopefully I can nip to the tunnel easy enough on the motorbike and the cross winds aren't too horrific.
