  • I waited in the office. Saw no point heading into the wet/darkness..
In the end had a feckin' lovely ride home.

  • i was in the office today when brixton road turned into a river. my boss got so excited we went down to took pictures...
also i have no excuse (yeah it'll rain again, why bother) not to clean my bike anymore after a longer than usual ride today down to tooting... bits of leaves everywhere, and they use salt to melt those damn hailstones - i ride a steel frame!

  • well i hear thursday will be the best day this week get rid of those cobwebs and riding blues by doing highgate hill thurs regents park 6 ish gloucester gate meet inside the gate quick loop and then to the pub

  • rakan I'm seriously considering buying a mudguard :(

me too, there's a set in my basket on wiggle...

The weather is so rubbish. I went out Monday in the rain because I was so desperate to get on my bike but i don't think it's done me any good because i've got a cold now :(

  • ..make you wanna move yer dancing feet. hope you guyz are waking up to perfect cloudless sunshine! Here's to the first day of 'summer'.

  • I see big dark clouds West of London still. But I want your optimism.

  • Maybe my neighbour can stop building that ark now..

Yesterday was ok at lunchtime. We managed a few pints outside in the sunshine! Good stuff Engerland. More please!!

  • Le Tour must have passed into another country now as thunderclaps and rain bear down upon the capital again..

  • That happened to me too today. Cycled into town to meet a friend, last 5 minutes I got soaked through to my boxers! Ergh! Same happened on the way back, put my bike in the garage and the sun comes out!

  • What a lovely day, I ahve my office door open and a 1/2 pint glass just took about one min to fill.

  • hehe, was just gonna post about the state of the weather. Mental!

  • Mmmm, Guinness....

  • I work opposite St Paul's on the other side of the river and we can't see it now because of the rain. Not a day to ride me thinks.

  • When I left for work this morning it was just overcast. Cycle to my first job - weather's fine, don't need a jacket. 2mins down the road and heavens open and I am completely drenched. then I have to cycle back to the office. Didn't put my mudguards on and I'm wearing a white shirt (now seethough) and jeans. I am bloody SOAKED.
