Six weeks ago I was sunning myself at my parent's place in Spain, it was a balmy 26ºc...

Well I'm finding this 'weather bomb' a strain. This is some of the most intense drizzle and mild air I have ever cycled in.

Why is everyone in such a hurry? Loads of speeding witnessed in only 15min being on the bike...

They've all still got Xmas dinner inside them and don't want to be far from toilets on their way to visit relatives. Or they're those super-consumer weirdos that are rushing out to buy things for a few quid less than normal despite have just spent a shit tonne of money on tat anyway, they also probably need a big shit.

Everyone was speeding everywhere today and yesterday round here. I think it's just opportune as for once there aren't many cars about so speeding is possible.

Over 3 inches here on the wirral and due to freeze. Saw one mtb rider .

We had about a minute then sleet, people from North Manchester and others I know in Stoke have loads. I want snow.

Just texting my sister in law in Stoke. They're supposed to be coming down here tomorrow but now want to stay at home and play in the snow.

If it makes you feel better I'm heading there for a couple of days tomorrow so should get to play in the snow as much as my decrepit hip will allow.

Wave if you pass them coming the other way. They favour A50 - M1 and their car is black coloured.

I'll be heading from Manchester so will probably miss them. I'll wave at somebody anyway though.
