Cycle to the corner shop and back, as I closed the door there was a flash of lightning and it started pouring down. Few hours later after it was over I ran out of cookies again so nipped out the the shop. Again as I get back home the first bits of hail start to drop. Win!

Going by the pattern set over the last few day, the sun's going to come out shortly only to disappear behind a thunder storm.

Had to go to a meeting this evening. Checked a couple of weather websites, and it was due to piss down at 11pm by which time I'd be safely home. So I thought I could take the fixie skid bike as I could get away without mudguards.

Left the house and it started to drizzle. Suddenly the sky turned dark and it was hailing and pouring. 20 minutes later I arrived at the meeting, soaked to the core, not a dry patch of clothing, and water squelching from my Sidis. So I had to sit there, with hand towels in my shoes and on my seat, wrapped in a towel, dripping and squelching every time I moved.

Why did I trust the weather forecast?
