Ah, mine are summer shoes too (I'm not buying winter-specific shoes!) get wet and then sit under my desk stinking, then get wet again on the way home and sit stinking near the heater until I put them on the next day, still wet and stinking. If it doesn't rain they take min. two days to dry.

I think eventually the water will get in..after an hour or so in this weather.
The toes peel back and stick up when you walk, meaning you have to adjust them when you get back on the bike and also meaning that when you walk into the foyer of an estate agents, the cheap suited desk-monkeys look at you as if you are Commander Cunt of the Starship Cunt, from the Planet Cunt. -

That reminds me of the Jay and Silent Bob - "I AM THE C.L.I.T. COMMANDER!" line.

Cross wind? I had a headwind for 10-miles coming in this morning. Feels like I rode 50.

my shoes are summer ones and get wet through, they spend the evening on the radiator.
at the moment I spend my time riding between appointments, getting on and off the bike and getting soaked in the process.
it's a bit like being a courier, without the kudos or the guaranteed pay
